A press release from Nintendo reveals exciting news for fans of the Metroid Prime series, particularly those who haven't played all of them. All three games will be released on a single Wii disc, Metroid Prime Trilogy.
As the name suggests, this disc will include all three Metroid Prime games:
Metroid PrimeMetroid Prime 2: EchoesMetroid Prime 3: CorruptionBest of all, the first two, originally on GameCube, will have their control schemes updated to use the Wiimote.
Gamers in the US can expect Metroid Prime Trilogy on August 24th, 2009. There's currently no news on an European release, but that could be in the pipeline too.
