THQ has gone ahead and announced Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for both Wii and DS.
The original Drawn to Life was a hit on Nintendo DS in 2007. Players are given a chance to draw their own character, weapons and other objects to use in the game itself. The package comprised of three types of play, an adventure mode (side-scrolling platform action), a village mode (top-down view of a village where you can interact with people and buy items), and a draw mode where you draw your stuff.
The new Wii version is said to allow for over 100 items, a multiplayer feature and obligatory mini-games like baseball, hockey and soccer. It's coming out this Fall, development is being handled by Planet Moon.
