Playstos, an independent games developer based in Italy has announced its first WiiWare project, an action platformer called Pallurikio. The zany storyline goes:
While playing a mysterious board game he found with his friends, Jimmy and his dog are taken through a dimensional vortex. They find themselves cast into amystical and wondrous world, where Jimmy assumes the form of a round and bouncing Pallurikio.
Using the Wiimote to point at the screen, make Pallurikio jump, roll and help him find his way through more than 50 challenging levels. All manner of pitfalls and traps can be encountered when traversing environments such as the Bakumbala Jungle, the far reaches of Palluro Prime and many other wild locations. Featuring advanced physics simulation, classic 2D platforming and charminggraphics, Pallurikio is guaranteed to keep you coming back for more of its fantastically fun gameplay.

Pallurikio is said to hit Europe on December 11th this year, priced at 1,000 Points. A US release should follow shortly after.
