Looks like Capcom are really going all out to please nostalgia fans with the upcoming Mega Man 9. In a recent interview with producer Hironobu Takeshita, he confirmed that you would have an option to turn on old-school glitches.
"On the NES you couldn't have more than three enemies on the screen at once, so we had to make sure that that's how it stayed in our game. At the part with the dragon and flames, there should be flickering and whatnot".
"In the options of this game, you can adjust that, unlike the old games. We purposely put some of those old-school bugs in, so it does recreate that feel".
I've also heard the game crashes unless you blow air into the Wii slot. It's gonna be good.
