The House of the Dead: Overkill has set a new record in the Gamer's Edition of the Guinness World Record book.
The on-rails shooter from Sega made it in under the "most swearing in a video game" category, with 189 different uses of the F-word. Gaz Deaves from the GWR commented:
" This record category pre-existed for movies, music and television, but House of the Dead: Overkill is the first video game to be awarded the title in the Gamer's Edition. It's a mark of the times ".
The times they were a changin'. The record is expected to stay intact until Singstar: Gangsta Rap is released later this year.
