Konami has revealed they intend on bringing the Lost in Blue franchise onto the Wii. Previous games have been on the DS handheld.
Lost in Blue sees you stranded on a desert island, the immediate focus is on survival and exploration, with an eventual goal of escaping. You look after several aspects of the main character, including hunger and thirst. In all it's something like "The Sims" meets "Cast Away" (or indeed, The Sims 2: Castaway -.-'). Konami's Anthony Crouts spoke:
"Building upon the success of the previous Lost in Blue DS titles, we wanted to give fans an extended experience in the first console version of the series. Bringing the series to Wii will ensure fans receive the most exciting, immersing survival adventure game to date".
Around 40 survival tasks can be undertaken, all using the Wiimote. The game has a working title of Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked and should be coming out this Fall.
