Predictably, it's a shopping mall scene with zombies milling around in the background. You'd think that with so much live flesh around, they'd be keener to get in on the action.
Deep Fried Entertainment, an independent video game developer, is proud to announce its first WiiWare title, ShadowPlay, an entertaining puzzle game that will have you thinking about common household objects in a different light! The game is available exclusively on WiiWare service for Nintendo's Wii system, and will be released January 11th, 2010.
ShadowPlay challenges players by transforming shadows into 100 exciting, unique puzzles. Should old acquaintance be forgot? We can't remember. But what we can remember is that this week's downloadable lineup from Nintendo asks a lot of questions. The Nintendo DSiWare service wonders if you can master missiles with Trajectile, lead animals to their proper pens with Animal Puzzle Adventure or match wits with TV chef Gordon Ramsay in Hell's Kitchen Vs. The WiiWare service puts you in charge of maximizing your rubber duckie output with Heron: Steam Machine, asks you to aim for the bull's-eye with Pub Darts and wonders if you have an itchy trigger finger with Fast Draw Showdown. A blog entry on the ESPN site says that EA has acquired the rights to make a new NBA Jam game, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii platform.
For those too young to remember, NBA Jam was a 2v2 basketball game first developed by Midway in 1993. An arcade-style game at heart, it featured exaggerated gameplay mechanics and effects for slam dunks, e.g. flames - resulting in the commentator shouting "He's on fire!".
NBA Jam was a huge hit back in the day and spawned many sequels, can a Wii version achieve the same success?
According to an email from Julio at EnjoyUp, the US WiiWare release of Chronos Twins DX is happening next week, on January 11th.
It plays like a split-screen action platformer, where the main character exists in two different time dimensions at once. Sounds complicated, and it probably is. These games are known for being tough. A brand new trailer has made it through the rift:
