This news is hardly surprising, but the secret project by developers Monster Games previously talked about is in fact Excitebots: Trick Racing. Monster's president Richard Garcia commented:
" Yes, Excitebots is our game. I didn't know that it was going to be announced. Unfortunately, I can not discuss the title or future plans of ours. If you liked Excite Truck, you will find a lot to enjoy in Excitebots ".
So that's another mystery cleared up.
